As of 18 October 2026 this site runs one analytics service, Google Analytics 4 (measurement ID G-8LH7E83H6N), in Consent Mode: analytics storage stays denied and no analytics cookie is written until you press Accept. No advertising or session-recording service runs. Fonts and images are hosted locally. YouTube receives a request only when you choose to play an embedded trailer.
The gtag.js library is loaded on every page and its local command queue sets Consent Mode v2 with ad_storage, ad_user_data, ad_personalization, and analytics_storage denied, plus ads_data_redaction, before gtag('config') runs. Accepting the banner sends an update that grants analytics_storage only; the advertising signals stay denied, no ad seller or Google Ads ID is configured, and Reject leaves analytics storage denied.
What runs, and why
The local preference is used only to remember this choice. Without a saved choice, the banner is shown. There is no ad auction or visitor profiling. Accept grants analytics storage, so GA4 may set its cookies and report page views and referral sources; Reject keeps analytics storage denied and limits GA4 to cookieless pings. Clicking a video is a separate request to load YouTube; Accept by itself does not load a player, and Reject by itself does not disable a later explicit Play request.
If navigator.globalPrivacyControl is true, this site treats the optional preference as denied: analytics storage stays denied and no advertising or profiling runs, regardless of Do Not Track. Cookie settings lets you reopen the choices; selecting Reject also removes any active YouTube iframe and restores its local poster. Removing a player stops its future activity here but cannot undo a request already sent.

Rights, ads, and changes
- You can ask for access, correction, or deletion of any mail you sent us. Write to contact@chainedbeasts.org.
- Delete the on-device choice yourself by clearing localStorage key cb_consent_v1, or use Cookie settings in the footer.
- We do not run personalized ads or sell or share information for cross-context behavioral advertising.
- Email goes through Cloudflare Email Routing to our editorial mailbox provider, Google Gmail. Those providers process the message needed to deliver it; do not send passwords, payment details, or game save files containing personal data.
- Mail we receive is kept long enough to handle the request, then deleted. The consent key expires after 180 days or when you clear it.
- This page’s date is the policy date. A material change updates that date and the footer check date together.

Do you use cookies?
The site sets no cookie until you accept: with analytics storage denied, Google Analytics sends cookieless pings, and the _ga cookies are written only after Accept. The consent choice itself is localStorage. YouTube may set cookies after you press play.
