The available evidence does not support a best-beast ranking for solo or four-player play. The table is a historical comparison of player achievement unlock proportions, not a strength tier list.
Source note: official Steam page data saved on 18 October 2026 confirms all eight beast achievement names and IDs, including Ibex as WinRun_Stag. The separate 17 October global API snapshot gives the proportion of players who unlocked each achievement. It does not count runs, attempts, beast usage, or team size. No comparative gameplay testing was performed for this page.
Solo and four-player questions
Solo: Steam confirms a single-player mode, but the global achievement proportions do not separate solo from co-op. They cannot identify the strongest solo beast or tell you how to control the chain in that mode.
Four players: the official description says poor coordination can tangle the group around a pillar and coordinated movement can trip enemies. That supports practicing movement together; it does not establish a beast ranking or prove coordination outweighs every stat difference.

A player can earn a beast achievement once and then play many more runs without changing that achievement state. A low proportion can reflect availability, progression, player choices, or other factors; these aggregate data cannot isolate the cause. They are not a popularity measure.
A defensible comparison would state the game version, variant, difficulty, equipment, team size, and repeated-trial method. This guide does not have that evidence. Suggested starting point: choose an available beast, read its in-game kit, and practice the documented mechanics rather than selecting by these percentages.
